Coaching & Mentoring
We have a good deal of experience in coaching and mentoring a variety of staff, including Headteachers, SLT members, SENDCOs, and less experienced staff, including ECTs.

The work relies on building a trusting relationship and a good rapport. Everybody's needs are different, so whilst some people may benefit from a more traditional coaching model, some may just find the space to talk openly with a fellow professional enough in itself.

Recently, an experienced teacher described these sessions as "transformational in the way I look at things."
Additional Information
-
Sessions usually last anywhere between 45 and 90 minutes.
-
Sessions can be face to face, virtual or as a blend of the two. Generally speaking, face to face sessions work best, at least initially.
-
When coaching, we use the TGROW method.
-
All of our people are ex-school leaders and trained coaches.
-
If it is important to you, you may request a male or female colleague to work with.
-
Because different people have different requirements, it may be that a series of sessions in a fairly short period of time are optimal for you or it may be that half-termly sessions are enough.
-
We offer a contact service outside of sessions if you want to discuss something urgently.
-
Some schools prefer to make sessions available to different staff on a bookable basis. This can work well, especially in specific circumstances.
